Alberta Trade show

In a few day’s I’ll be flying to an Alberta Trade show. It’s going to be a lot of fun, and I can’t wait to get there and perform. Most people who know me, know I wear many different “hats” As a result I have a few different websites to market my personalities. I am Corbin, the Charming cheat. A vintage styled con artist type magician. However I am also often Corbin “The Trade show magician” You can find more information on my trade show character at

Amazing Corbin at Alberta Trade Show

I have performed all over North America for the past 25 years or so. As a result I’m used to visiting different locations. However I have never been to Alberta and I am looking forward to it. This will be my second trade show this month. Trade shows are a lot of fun and I really enjoy creating the magic for them. Because the Alberta Trade show (and all the rest) have me to promote a product, I must create presentations that explain companies products or services in a magical way. The company I am working for in Edmonton Alberta is a pharmacy, so I will be presenting magic that explains their services and such.

Custom magic that serves a purpose

At the Alberta Trade show I have some fun magic routines created especially for my client. I start off with a cards, but it’s one where I need my spectators help. My clients slogan is “Partners in Care”. As a result the show begins with a trick that requires partnership. And during the presentation I keep repeating the slogan. The spectator finds his card and we all know that my company thinks working together is important. My other effects that explain the companies 24 hour service, their medication management techniques and more. I’m particularly fond of the finale that has me presenting a huge pill. I created a large container and painted it to look like a medication capsule. Little medication pills vanish and reappear and then the companies promotional products appear inside the capsule for immediate handing out. It’s a great finale and gets everyone involved.

Drawing a crowd, then sending them to the sales people

At the Alberta trade show as well as all the other trade shows, my main job is not to perform magic. My job is to attract a crowd at the booth, then send them to the sales people for contact. My shows are short, pass the message along and then get the sales people involved. I introduce the staff to the spectators and after my show they begin to interact. I work as a kind of magical ice breaker. If you have a product or service you would like promoted, at a trade show, or anywhere give me a call. I can present your ideas and let the public know about your services in a fun and magical way. I look forward to discussing this with you further.
